cruise control

Good morning

I am having cruise problems. the way my cruise used to work was I would turn on cruise,(no dash light) when I set the speed then the light comes on. is this normal. it all started with cruise working part time then just quit. I recently replaced master cylinder with new cruise switch. I tried to put the cruise into troubleshooting mode, it doesn't work either:Shrug:. does anyone have a follow the steps procedure to fix this maybe. fuses are good brake lights work:gah:

Your lights are working correctly. I had a problem with mine a couple of times. One time I had to clean out the cruise control module under the hood. I sprayed some cleaner under the cover and everything then worked normally. Another time I had to replace the switches on the steering wheel. Rick

check the wiring harness at the module for power and ground. you might get a wiring harness diagram for a 2007 ford ranger
