Considering a Motor Trike?

For those who may be considering a Motor Trike, it appears the price may be going up soon. Southwest Trikes just posted this on their site.

"Motor Trike just sent us a notice that they are increasing the price of the Independent Suspension Adventure Kit AGAIN for the SECOND time this year. The new suggested retail price is $7,950.00 and will go into affect as of April 1st. We chose to leave our price at the original price of $7,395.00 and will continue to do so for as long as we can. "

Motor Trike are taking a chance. In these hard times they are scaring folk off from their products. Either that or they have a bare face cheek and think they can do what they want and get away with it. Lets see 6 months down the line how well this rise in price has affected them:yes:

Sorry Motor Trike... I chose not to purchase a Motor Trike Kit because there were too many of them for sale as Trikes on numerous web sites.

CSC dropped their price $1,000, plus a free $650 light bar. Threw in aux. gas tank for $150, and chrome directional wheels another $100. :yes: The tank and wheels are normally $1150. They didn't have to twist my arm. Tom

Supply and demand. The principle of economics. They will suffer if the demand dries up and their supply goes up. That will force their price down to unload supply.
