Congrats Papa Zook and Champion

Picked up the May issue of Thunder Press magazine today at our dealership and on the cover was our own Papa Zook !!!! Inside was a story about Champion Trikes & Sidecars and Cut-N-Shoot Customs with some more pics of an installation he was working on. Glad to see an article about trikes and more importantly Papa gets some press. I couldn't find the article on their website yet, maybe because the issue just came out, anyway, kudos Papa. And he got in a plug for the TrikeTalk forum.

This came out of nowhere, I was surprised when I got a call from Thunder Press Magazine wanting to do an article about trikes, their popularity, how they are built, etc. Champion/Lehman does some advertising with them and they said Champion recommended us to them to interview. I happened to have a Lehman kit (Champion owns Lehman) that was about to be installed on a 2015 Harley CVO Ultra, so the stars were aligned and Robert Filla of Thunder Press Houston paid me a couple of visits to gather info and photograph the build.

He took a bunch of before, during and after pics, asked me lots of questions about the trike industry, trike riders, our TT forum, Champion/Lehman and then wrote a really nice two page article titled 'A look behind the curtain" for the May issue. Thunder Press Magazine is available for free at all Harley dealerships throughout the USA.

I went to the HD dealership in Gruene, asked for a copy of Thunder Press, was told they were out so I looked on the tables in the waiting area near the service department. Sure enough some kind soul left one there.
