I left the Dallas Tx area on the 23rd of April pulling a fully loaded Aluma MCT, including 2 full dry bags on top and a cooler full of food and beverages, headed to Appomattox VA for the Horizons Unlimited Rally. It was a 65 degree high temp day when I left, but the temps continued to rise during the week. In Virginia temps got up to the high 80's. After leaving Appomattox with temps still in the mid 80's, we headed to a motorcycle campground called Willville at Meadows of the Dan, then to a North Carolina motorcycle campground.

We rode the Blue Ridge Parkway and several other very curving mountain roads. Lots of mountain up and down roads where the I had to shift and brake a lot. I ran the Cool Masters all the time and brought a digital thermometer to check head temps. The hottest the rear jug got was 244 after some hard slow curves and steep grade mountain roads, but normally ran about 234 or slightly lower. The front jug ran about 208 to 210. I'm currently in northern Georgia where it has rained since yesterday and projected through tomorrow, but will be leaving Sunday when the weather looks great. I am totally impressed with the way the fans have kept the engine cool.

The trike has performed flawlessly although the constant tight 20 mph curves in the mountains with a trailer has worked me over pretty good. I hope the Love Jugs work this well as the temps continue to rise, but I highly recommend these.

Update on Cool Masters performance. Coming home from Georgia I went through Atlanta making my way to I-20 for the fastest way home. On I 20 I was cruising 70 to close to 80 at time by speedometer, but running 3150 to 3250 rpm. Temp was 85. Still pulling the trailer and keeping the hammer down, max rear jug temp was 255. Front jug runs 30 degrees cooler.
