Have to go in tomorow morning for a colonoscopy.
Have to start drinking the clean out fluid around 4pm this afternoon, guess, john and I are going to be close friends for a few hours.
The funny thing is the surgoen who is going to be doing it is the main surgen my late wife worked with in surgery for thirty years,I can just hear her now saying there is one butt hole looking up another butt holes butt hole.

I've had six colonoscopys in the past five years. My girlfriend convinced me I should get the first one "just to be on the safe side". Glad I did as I've had a total of 15 polyps removed, three of which were pre-cancerous. The procedure itself is pretty simple but the prep isn't a lot of fun.

I would strongly recommend that anyone age 55 or over, who has never had one, do it!! Had I not listened to Betty there's a very good chance I wouldn't be here making this post today!!

I like your late wife's sense of humor, Jim! LOL! Greydog is quite right --- the only tough part of all of this is the prep!

I did not think the prep was that bad. I drank the Go Lightly (what a name). Bland taste, so sucked on a mint.

LOL!! I used the same stuff......and I'll guarantee you do not "go lightly"!!
You could :censored: through a screen door and never touch a wire!! Never ever decide to take a quick ride to the mini-mart after drinking that stuff....ask me how I know!!
