Just curious how you like them, I remember a long time ago some of the owners of 909's say after putting them on they slipped back from where they was installed even with new clamps. I know some said to drill a hole and put a stainless screw to keep them in place, I think I even mentioned about using a muffler clamp from a car and clamp it down tight.

So has anyone in the last few months bought any 909's and had any trouble with them slipping back, I know someone said the slits in the muffler are shorter than the stock mufflers so curious if Cobra has increased the length of the slit or maybe have built it better so they don't slide back. I'm thinking of them because I seen some you tube video sound clips and I like the sound compared to sound clips of other mufflers on youtube,

All for now Trampas

I installed a set last summer. NO problems with them moving. Make sure to cover the slit and tighten the clamp.

Back in the old days we would use high temp clear silicone on the pipes before we slid the mufflers on.

This ensured no leaks and the clamps would hold the mufflers on better, they were a real bear to remove, so be sure you get them on as far as you want to to begin with

New trike conversions come with all new muffler clamps included so the used stock Torca clamps don't get reused. Amazon sells a high quality stainless heavy duty Torca style clamp that a lot of cycle shops I know use for muffler swaps, they go by the brand name Evil Energy HERE.
