In the 2 years I have owned this 17 Freewheeler I have NOT had any problems with my clutch switch

I routinely remove #16/17 clean out the inside of the perch and lube the pin, careful not to lose the snap ring I hope this helps y'all

This should be the same for the TriGlides;)

Very good info and glad you've had no problem. But I did within four months of ownership of my '18 TG and then again about five months after that. Just had the second replacement and there is a new improved version that has a stronger spring on part # 14 and a redesigned clutch lever that should make better contact with the plunger. So I think the problem is bigger and more involved than just clean and lube or the moco would not have spent the $$ on this redesign and replacement for those that fail.

I just put a couple drops of silicone lube on the pin & let it soak in every 6 months or so.

It seems the TriGlide owners have more problems with the switch packs than Freewheeler owners.
