Have a '21 TG with factory Boom Infotainment. Noticed when ignition is turned on the clock shows 12:00. As I'm riding the time increases but at next startup the clock is back to 12:00. I have not completed any updates but unless there is a known bug, I would think the update is immaterial. Am I wrong? Anyone else had this issue?

I also have a '21 but I have never heard of this glitch, sorry I can't help. I'm sure you have gone through the manual about setting the time zone, etc.

Are you talking about the clock in the bottom left-hand side of the screen?

Go to your setting and change the clock to GPS

Actually it's the clock at bottom right when in map mode. I will have to see if there is a difference on various screens.

Again, I might suggest that you go to your setup and chance the clock to GPS - see if this resolves the matter.

By the way, when software version are you using?

My 19 tri glide often starts out with the clock at 12:00. I ignore it and look at it a few minutes later and it's reading the right time. Don't know why it does it but it does. It is set to GPS time.

Dawingrider and Rogue1 - something just came to my mind. When you turn your bike off, you should see the red security light flashing.

This lets us know that you are still getting power to the head unit when you turn the bike off. If you are not getting that flashing light, it might be that you have a loose wire inside. The unit has to have constant power to keep the bike clock current.

This is just like your computer - only the PC has a little battery

Security system is fine. I'm running the Dakota Digital Dash and it did the same thing with the OEM gauges. It only happens occasionally and returns to normal in a minute or so. I don't sweat it.

Rode to dealer for 15k service and asked them about the clock issue. They said they never heard of such but would look into it. Apparently the tech was happy for the challenge and was excited to tell me he had fixed it by changing the time zone setting to "Auto". Well it worked and now no clock issues!
