chrome lower fork legs

no idea what it's like in your area, but here on the left coast every Harley dealer and most independent shops offer a chrome exchange on lower legs, swingarms etc. My preference is paint or powdercoat,I hate polishing.

HD, J&P and Dennis Kirk are good places to start looking at forks. Also, consider taking your originals to a local chromer...quite a bit cheaper...

The one and only time I had chrome forks was in 03 when I had an accident and destroyed my front end. I asked the service manager if I could substitute the chrome forks for the original ones. All I had to pay was the difference between the two, which wasn't very much, and the labor was already paid for. I wouldn't do it again if I had to pay full price.

Rick, you're right if you don't mind or can do the removal/install yourself and be without the bike for days. The dealer can do it in a day.

I've installed several sets of the HD chrome lowers, they look good and the chrome seems to be holding up pretty good.
