Putting on chrome sliders and was looking for chrome axle spacers and
cannot find any. There are no part numbers for chome spacers for
the T.G.
checked with the local dealer and Harley does not offer the spacers.
Can't beleive that they would sell the chrome sliders and not have the
spacers available.
Does anyone know if the spacers for the bagger will work, the acc. book
says not or where you might be able to get some.
Would like to put the chrome spacers in while everything is apart.
any help would be appreciated
Thanks

Buy the one they offer, there not smart enough to know they work. I have alot of things on mine they say will not fit it is just a Ultra-Classic front end. I put the tapered one on mine part num.41458-08
It says it will not fit but they do it seems to help keep water out of the front wheel bearing. Hope this helps!!!

You can also check with willyshiny.com. I have a set on mine, they are large enough to cover the brake rotor bolts.

I saw those on willey shiny's website. They take the place of the spacer? How thick are they out around the edge where they ride close to the brake rotor? If too thin, I would worry about something maybe pushing the outer edge against the rotor.

I think half the time HD doesn't have a clue about its own products. When we did the chrome front end on his 09 Triglide the only spacers HD had which didn't exclude trike were the domed PN 41371-08. When I went to do the front end of my 2010 HD had changed the fitment description to 08 and later touring models with ABS except trike:Shrug:. Go figure, don't know what changed in a year, I installed them on my 2010 and have run them with no problems. It doesn't make a bit of sense they sell a chrome front end and not list chrome spacers to go with it.

As for the thickness... they are about 1/8" to 3/16" on the edge. I've been on a lot of gravel road and haven't had any problems. I'll try to get better pictures and measurements of the end of the spacer today when I go to the shop today.
Here are a some pictures of them on the TG.
I would also check out what M3 used for his TG.
