Christmas Vacation !

Morning all. Well we're finally back form our 3 week vacation to 3 states. 1st state was to Minn to see our Daughter and her family 3 days and 1800 miles. Weather was fantastic all the way up there plus so was the traffic. Then after a few days we were off to North Dakota for just a few days and nights to see our Son & his family. That's a little over 400 miles round trip.. After Christmas we were off to Calif to see our daughter and our Grandson & her boy friend. Then back to Arizona where home is waiting. So approx 5,200 miles later we SWEAR we'll never DRIVE again in the winter months. Driving thru Kansas was the worst part of the whole trip with ice covered rds for miles. This could be a 3 to 4 page letter BUT this sum's it all up. So were REALLY HAPPY we got to see most of the family and we are SUPER HAPPY to be back home. Where I think we'll have to sleep on our stomachs for a few days . Think I'll need and oil change now and so does the truck !!!!P.S. In all of out travels never seen any M/C's any place till we reached Calif where we seen a number of them. And again yesterday here in AZ .

Glad to hear you had a good trip and no serious problems other than having to deal with icy roads. Been there and done that. Winter weather has been fairly good here in Jamestown with only a few inches of snow on the ground and clear roads. Temps have been slightly above average staying in the mid 20's but about to change. Forecast is for temps to drop this weekend to single digit highs and minus 0 lows. Only good thing is slight chances of snow this weekend as well. A couple friends headed south to your area for the winter this past week. Wife is still working so can't do that.

Enjoy the riding and think of us stuck here in the cold and snow.
