I've looked for a couple folding chairs that will fit in my trunk or tour pack. Not wanting to spend a fortune. Ordered two of these and so far I am pretty impressed. They easily fit I the trunk or tour pack, and unlike similar type small folding chairs the aluminum poles are strung together so assembly takes about 10 seconds.

I bought the Helinox camp chair that looks just like this one. It was pricey but this particular Walmart chair did not pop up on the google search at the time. I am pleased with it. Anybody looking for a trike-packable, comfortable, easy to pop-up chair needs to definitely give this Walmart chair a look-see.

When I ordered these two I wasn't too sure of the quality, or if once I plunked down in one it would support me no matter what the literature claimed.

I was happy with how solid it felt (I come in around 218). You don't sit up real straight, they sort of position you in a laid back slant but I found it very comfortable.

The best part was when I tossed them in my trunk along with jackets and everything else and I still had extra room!

Nice find and at an affordable price.

This chair is on my list for 2018 camping gear.

I didn't measure the length when they are stored in the bag, but I am guessing they are no longer than 13 or 14 inches.

The pricey Helinox chair measures 18-1/2” long x 5-1/2” wide in its storage case. Fits great in the bottom trunk...I use the top trunk for immediately-accessible items so never put it up there.

One of my considerations when researching the chair was that the seating height from the ground had to be acceptable...no squatty stuff - too hard to get out of. Although it is not regular lawn chair height it is acceptable. Might be the reason for the longer length than Joe’s estimated length for his chair. That being said I would have purchased Joe’s chair if I would have found it first...just due to cost.

Thanks for the info, Joe. I ordered one yesterday based on your recommendation. They are on clearance sale, that works for me.

I copied this from the Walmart site:

Dimensions: 20.9 x 13.8 x 26.4 inches

Package dimensions: 13.4 x 3.9 x3.9 inches

Weight: 1.98 pounds
