Champion Reverse Question

Thinking of purchasing a Champion reverse gear for my 2017 Tri Glide. Does anyone know if it will fit with a Vance and Hines Power Duals header?

Or does anyone know of a mechanical reverse that will work with a Power Duals header?

I installed a Baker F6R on my 2017 Street Glide with the V&h headpipe, barely fit, I added a couple of spacers to the rear pipe mount to get more clearance.

I installed the Motor Trike reverse on my '13 TG with V & H True Duals. Had to revert back to the OEM with the CAT gutted. The True Duals diameter is larger than OEM, then combined with the Motor Trike setup thickness, wouldn't fit. Guess adding a few washers for clearance wouldn't hurt to gain the clearance you need.

I also added the motor trike reverse on my 13. I have true duals. I modified the bracket for the exhaust by the trans to allow the pipes to move out a little. I also had to cut a notch out of the heat shield to clear the trans cover

I added the motor trike on my 2011......And with the tire duals i had to hammer a flat spot on the heat shield.....

The Champion Reverse Kit that I installed on my 09 adds about 3/4 of an inch.

Thanks Guys. Seems like all mechanical reverses have clearance trouble. I'll have to space out the headers.

Yes, the Champion and the Motor Trike mechanical reverse will fit with the V&H Power Duals, just have to space out the lower exhaust frame mount attachment 3/8" with flat washers before tightening the head pipe bolts. I'll post a pic shortly. I carry the Motor Trike reverses and will give you a deal on one, same day shipping. PM me if you're interested.

Any clearance/fitment problems with a stock exhaust on a 2018 Trike using a Motor Trike reverse - plan on installing this winter.
