Reverse light for the Tri-Glide.

Installing a reverse/back-up light.
Bike here is a 2023 Tri Glide Ultra. Other years could apply. This IS NOT a kit, and these 2 parts were the only ones that were available. I purchased the parts from my HD dealer.
HD part numbers.
LIGHT, LIC PL, REVERSE-------67900430
BRKT, LIC PL, LIGHT COVER- 67900433

The light has a 2ft wire with a connector that plugs into the reverse light pig tail that is located between the tour pack and the seat (the seat does not need to be removed) To mount the light, I super glued the top of the light cover to a 1/8" thick 6" X 1" piece of black plastic. Then I attached a piece of 3M double side adhesive tape to the other side of the black plastic. This light is mounted to the bottom of the tour pack by the 3M tape. (see attached photo)


fyi: Trikes exported to Australia have this light installed at the the factory to pass DMV in that country.

Yes, it is. With the exception of the part/s to mount it. HD couldn't supply so I had to improvise.

There are lights available at a Drag Specialties dealer called the Calade lights . I think they are made by Ciro. They are plug and play on TriGlide and are attached with the double sided sticky tape . They are run turn brake and have bright reverse light too. I will try and find a link.

They shut off when you put the bike in gear.
