Ch-Ch-Changes... (with apologies to David Bowie, wherever he is...)

A few pics of my recent additions to my Freewheeler.

I like the subtle decorations that I saw here from other members and decided to add a chrome front fender tip (J&G part # 1039445). I had a Street Bob at one time that I had added smoked lenses too an so matched the LED turn signals with smoked lenses with taillight LEDs with smoked lenses (Kuryakyn Low Profile taillight #5439).

In addition, while cruising eBay I saw a "buy now" on a used Freewheeler bumper and got it about 80 bucks cheaper the buying it and paying sales tax. It is used but did not have a single mark on it so was a great find.

The taillights were also eBay "buy now or make an offer and I got them new for $12 (with free shipping) cheaper than any pair I could find anywhere online.

Both the turn signals and taillights are simple plug&play and fit in well with the black and chrome motif of the trike. I also added a chrome Scorpion that I got on ebay (pair for $10 with free shipping.
I took a pic with and without the lights on so you could see how the rear smoked lenses blend in. The LEDs are really bright also.

If you did not see other pics, I had previously added the dual 2" tank lift which shows the jugs with good effect. and so the fender tip and Scorpion add just a bit of zing w/o going overboard with chrome. (BTW, heat issues and toasted thighs are no more with the lift and the mid-frame deflectors I just put on.)

Looks great! Can't beat EBay for finding those good deals... I have to ask how hard was it to mount the bumper? Still trying to decide if I want one.

I took the easy way out and had my HD service do it. They charged $47 including a couple of bolts and nuts that were not included. I'm pretty handy but the wear and tear on my hands, back and brain were not worth it.

Nice, I'll look into it...can't remember the last time I walked out of service paying anything close to $50 Lol must be doing something wrong. :xzqxz:

I had this done with my 1000 mi service. The total for the service was $47. They waived the cost of the service due to some kind of plan for the initial work. It was $305 deduct if I remember.

Maybe everyone get this but I expected that it would cost me about $400 for the work I had done. Again raves for my dealership.
