Hi all,
I am ten day away from my new Stallion and have some newbie questions -

1) What has been some good options and locations on the dash to install a CB radio? Have most owners installed a J&M CB or used one of the many compact CB units. Also how did you handle the antenna and what type did you use?

2) Where did you pull your power source for the CB?

Thanks in advance for your help and love to see pictures. :)

Sierra Electronics has a J & M unit for the Stallion which I installed on mine. I used their no ground plane antenna made by Firestik. Works fine after you get it tuned in with an SWR meter. Here's a link: Products Good Luck... ThumbUp

I also installed the unit from Sierra Electronics. If you look at my photo albums "2009 Stallion & Trailer", the sixth picture from the left shows where I installed my antenna. The power source was wired under the hood behind the dash. The location of the unit under the steering column makes it very easy to control. I have been very pleased with the CB.

installed J & M from sierra electronics, works great been installed since I got the stallion in may of 09
I installed a Kawasaki antenna off of a old bike I had parts for because it folds down so I can put the cover on.
