Hey everyone. My 2003 Goldwing trike has a CD player in the trunk. I am not much into CDs and I am wanting the CB Honda uses on their bikes. Does anyone have the CB that they might be wanting a CD player? Also has anyone tried this swap and how good is the CB on the Hondas? Our group does some funeral and escorts in our area and its good to be able to keep up with all the bikes. Any suggestion and or comments?

I don't think you will find many who want to trade a CD for a CB, just saying. CD's are old technology. You can get more tunes on a stick as big as your index finger than hundreds of CD's. Any song you like on any album you can find on Tunes or Youtube. Some of my Harleys had CD players but I don't think they even include them now. They have USB ports just like the Wings do.

You might want to shop CB's. There are some after market brands out there and dealers offer different prices depending on what mood they are in.. Good luck!

The cheapest way for a CB, is a $50 or less handheld with a belt clip. Run a headphone set to hear it. You wont need much power riding in a group everyone will be close.

Ride Safe.

We had the Honda OEM CB sets installed on both our trikes - expensive - but we've enjoyed being able to communicate with others in a group. Haven't had any problems with them at all.

On our cruisers we had J&M bike-to-bike units - we liked them because we could talk to just each other without anybody else hearing what we said. :D
