Canadian Border Gun Carry Question

Hey all, A few of us are taking a ride up to Niagara Falls and want to ride a little in Canada. I have a NY CWP. I know I cannot bring my carry into Canada and I will not attempt to cross or approach the border with it. Has anyone run into this situation. I only plan on being in Canada for the day so a gun shop for cleaning or a bank depot box or even pawning it are not really options Thanks Steve

You might try a police department and see if they will store it in property for a day or 2 or maybe in their desk.

What I always try to do is find a mom and pop gun shop ( getting harder to find now ) and ask them if you can leave it with them, their suppose to put it on the books when they take any gun in for any reason, but if you talk to them and tell them what your doing most will just bring it home. I've never had anyone ask for any money for doing this but I always leave $20 or 25 bucks for their help.
