Can someone tell us the HISTORY of Trike talk ?

OK. My reason for asking was to find out this all came about. But this got high jacked into members wanting to know there #'s. So where do I find out the HISTORY of this site & how it all came about ? Someone said they would asker when they got min or 3. BUT !! Still NO history lesson yet ? :(

I'm sure Zook will oblige as soon as His time allows.....will pretty much have to come from there, as He is the Inventor, Owner, and Administrator.....Like Gorilla, I've been told the "High Points", and "General History", but Zook will be "THE GUY" ........ThumbUp

Sorry about that! I believe that is the first time a thread ever got HIJACKED here. Like Skuuter sez (it's kinda like the Shadow) only Zook really knows. RIDE SAFE

Gee I thought I gave you pretty much all I thought you were looking for. Randy shared the creation history with me one day over a beer. Any further in depth would have to come from him. Being he has not posted anything further I believe he feels that it is covered. If you really need more then I expect you will have to contact Randy directly.

What would you like to know that I did not provide you?
I guess that sort of the short version . I was thinking of a more in depth version. But that sum's it up. When a few of us started a club in the late 70's. I was a lot of work between some friends that took about a month of hard work. Meetings and phone calls everyday. Meeting at restaurants after work and at each others homes and garages. Dreaming up our Name and Logo. Designing our shirts and cuts. Yeah we had the internet and a lot of help from friends and business. Getting the go ahead 100% from members and others clubs in the area. But this being just an on line sort of club. Its was maybe a lot easier and less worries. I guess I didn't really read it all Gorilla the 1st time. Thanks for your time. ThumbUp R/T

Found this old thread interesting, as the Vision definitely has grown and changed.

Congratulations Randy , as it all planed out :clapping:

I believe I joined late 2013 or early 14

This site is a wealth of knowledge great people all of whom have extended advice and assistance in one form or another and I have tried my best to return the kindness in like form. I believe it is still performing it's prime directive to educate and assist riders and the do it yourself back yard shade tree guy's and gals if you will for what ever reason. Remember when this great forum started there were most likely HD service cars the only factory built one's out there. The market has drastically changed Randy and his group of moderators have done an absolutely stellar job nurturing and growing this Internet window for all to glean information from, be entertained, be amused and learn from. What more could anyone possibly ask for to all I say thank you from the bottom of my heart and soul please don't mess with the greatest forum I have come across in my life time. Sorry for the rant but I needed to say what I feel in my heart. travel safe Fred
