Trying to decide whether to go with the bra or bra-less.

With the bra:

Without the bra:

I also vote "with".

Great protection for your fenders and it even looks better.

If Roadsmith made them for their conversion with the wing boards, I'd have them installed.

Bra less. But keep it clean. And as for the trike if you do have her wear one, remove the bra at least once or twice a year and clean and wax under it. If you encounter a lot of rain remove it for a few days and dry it out and clean under it. If you have a dark color you might see a difference in color over time, as the trike will fade but under the bra it won't.
Just looked at your pictures . You are referring to fender guards? The bra fits on the front around the headlight. Anyway same rules apply to the fender protectors.

I don't know how to answer that really. My PEARL has a set of upper and lower bras--Motor trike and i like them fine. One of my freinds has a CSC and I dont like them at all.Anyhow I do think rears fenders need some protection.RIDE SAFE

Braless... I put a bra on a Civic of mine and what a mistake. Crap underneath it all the time. I put the 3M on my CSC. Easy to lean and does about the same job. And, it is puurrty!

You are probably right, a bra usually refers to something that protects the front of a vehicle. CSC calls it a bra, so I went with that.<br />

Maybe we should call them Fender Chaps!

I've read posts about those covers on the fenders vibrating in the wind and causing damage to the paint. Probably not a problem if fit is very tight, but be aware of this issue if that is the way you want to go. I like their looks but am not sure I would go this route.

Thanks all for your input.

Asked my wife what she thought and she is for the bra (Fender Chaps).

Her words were: "The bras completes it".

I won't put the chaps on until end of April. According to the paint shop, it takes about 90 days for the paint to fully cure. At that point, they will polish it again.

So between now and then, I'll need to be careful not to get any chips in the paint.

When I do install them, I will definitely keep the installation and maintenance tips in mind.

Again, Thank you all so very much!

I like it with the bra.

From the comments here, I take it that the black is attached with rivets or something, not a solid glue like the 3M material?

We had the 3M material on the '09. It was fine but I think the black looks better.

You don't need the 3M film AND the bra. One or the other should suffice. I have the fender bra on my CSC and I really like it. It protects it and I like the looks of it.

Personally, I don't care for the bra's..( agree with americanbadass here!! )
No but seriously, I think dirt and grit can get traped under the bra and damage the paint. The color looks beautiful anyhow, so why cover it up??!!!

I vote no bra....put the bra on after you get chips, why save it for the next guy. That way you can enjoy it both ways....It's like putting a seat cover on a new seat.

I look the look with the "fender chaps" - LOL! Does anyone have a source for these? My 2002 Wing/Champion already has a few rock chips which I would like to cover - and prevent more from occurring. Any suggestions since Champion does not offer fender covers (other than the the clear 3M film)?
