Like everyone else who has converted their 2 wheel KLT to a Hannigan trike, the cost to fuel mileage has gone from around 48-52 mpg to about 30-35 mpg. I included a trailer hitch with the conversion for future purchase of a Trailmaster Aspen Classic camper. For anyone that hauls one of these trailers or similar, what has this extra load done to the "miles per gallon" or is it now "Gallons per Mile"???

I pull a Hannigan trailer with my BMW trike. I admit I don't load the trailer too heavy. Just camping gear and some clothing. The effect on gas consumption is hardly noticeable. It's not something I worry about too much.

That's good to know, I was thinking it would really deteriorate. How about on hills or mountains?
