Rats Rats Rats!

I just got home from a visit to my dermatologist, who excised a big ol' hunk o' skin cancer from my upper back (not to worry--it's "only" basal cell, not big, bad melanoma), and when he finished, saw fit to caution me: "No strain on those shoulder and back muscles until I see you again in two weeks." Or words to that effect. "And yes," he added, "that includes riding your shiny new trike." :gah: I'd been gushing about the trike during the entire procedure. If only I'd known he was going to use that information against me, I never would have shared my good news with him. :groan:
So Goldie's down for a couple of weeks, unless the Chief takes her out for a spin or two--btw, now that his finger's better and HE can ride again, OF COURSE now I can't. Jeez Louise!
I'm so mad I could spit! (But I won't, because I'm not supposed to be cleaning the floors either--I guess that's at least ONE good thing.
