Since my vw motor let go in my vw trike, I went out and bought a 2006 Yamaha Roadstar Raider[1900 cc motor] and going to make it into a trike using the trike rearend that I already bought from Intrexon Corporation - Synthetic Biology through Better DNA - Home Page , Before I go on with pics of the transformation, I want to say this bike is super fast as it was a bike, too darn fast for this old man, will see what it does as a trike.

When I got the kit[rear end] it looked all pretty, but only came with the sprocket to use a stock belt.
When I took the swingarm off, I realized that I'd have to make a new swingarm since the swingarm on the bike is Alum., so I did that and got the rear end on it and set it level, but I found out that the rear end was offset to the left about 2 inches[as you are looking at the rear of the bike] so in order to make this work, I had made a wheel adapter to correct the problem, the rear end comes with a bolt pattern to fit old chevy 5 x 4 3/4 in or it also has a bolt pattern for a VW car,[new vw cars] and a BMW wheel bolt pattern.

Well got the wheels on and secured[18 in wheels with 235x 75R x 18 tires]
Then I found out that the master cylinder on the bike was not large enough to work the disc brakes on the rear end, so I got a new master cyl. off a 2009 gholdwing and made it work, so now I have rear brakes that stop.
I made a body for it to look something similar to the Champion kit for bikes to trikes.
Here are pics , if you want to look at it, it took me about 3 weeks from start to finish, and today was my 1st ride on the new trike, man this thing is fast and will kill me if I don't slow down, I may keep it or sell it, just don't know yet, maybe ride it for awhile and see.

I will have to resize my pics as it won't let me post them, or maybe I am not allowed to post more than 1 pic?

If it is that fast with those square wheels in pic, imagine how fast you would go with round wheels. Looks good.:Joker3:

Maniac, you can post up to 5 pictures on each post. They just have to be resized to no larger than "medium". If you have more than 5, just reply to your initial post and add 5 more.

Nana,
Thanks, I tried resizing them to a smaller size and still don't work, so I guess I need to go back to the drawing board.
