Bike shut off on a corner and displayed tip?

Hey Pat, I'm glad you found it useful. My bike is a 2016 also so yours should be doable. My local dealer had no idea what I was talking about until I printed a few pages from the HD service website talking about this. Once they hooked up the digital technician to the bank angle sensor it only took them a few minutes. They didn't find any option for a side car enabled but did find a trike option. Well worth having it done because it sucks having to corner conservatively knowing it will trip on you otherwise.

Hi Lisa, Don't be discouraged!! You will get another dealer to make the change for you. The nearest dealer from me that knew what I was talking about was 3 hours away, and I was ready to bring it there until I found the 2 documents in the links below and brought them to my local dealer. BTW, they didn't even charge me since it was such a quick fix. The only glitch is if you have a security system the red light on your dash will stay lit, but the security system still works fine. For me this was a small price to pay.

The 2 links below are not specific to our bikes but they clearly state the need to re-program the TSSM, HFSM, or BCM. My dealer said side car enabled wasn't an option but that tri-glide was.
