Met up with Randy yesterday afternoon. He was on his way back home from picking up his HD Ultra Bagger Conversion in-the-making from Hannigan. It is a stunning piece of work, along with some great paint. Gotta say I felt like my Tri-Glide was an ugly duckling next to it. We had a great time visiting. We put a tape measure to it, at roughly 61" wide it is about 6"-7" wider than a Tri-Glide.

The lines are fantastic!

By the time he is done with it, it is going to be one of the nicest HD Trikes running down the road! ThumbUp Kevin

Whatta ya gonna do without all the plastic on your old bike?

This is an '07 Ultra Classic and the batwing inner and outer fairings have been painted and will be going back on. The factory HD side panels will be replaced with new, custom extended side panels that are built and supplied with every bagger kit by Hannigan. They are extended at the top to hug the gas tank and at the bottom to flow with the trike body with great lines. The graphics on my gas tank flow right down the side panels and looks killer. If you look at pics of the Hannigan Bagger trike side panels in other threads you will see what Im talking about, they look great. I picked up my new black Bushtec trailer from the Bushtec factory last Friday so I have more than enough room to haul all my gear on trips. I'm stoked!!

The HD lowers are also painted to match but I am not yet 100% sure I will put them back on the bike, at least not until winter. I may install them just to take some pictures and then take them back off for the summer. As for the tour box, I will not be running one for now as I like the lines of the bike as it is and the Hannigan tour box mount cover looks really slick. It comes right off in 5 seconds if you want to install the tour box. I will eventually be getting a tour box quick disconnect bracket so I can swap it on or off, but for now I am going for a Street Glide Bagger look.

I can honestly say I have never removed my lowers Zook, they protect me from weather, wind, bugs, help keep the motor clean etc.. and I don't ride in the winter here!
In my opinion, Harley made a mistake in models newer than mine.
One of my lowers is designed to ram air at the rear and the other to ram air at the front cylinder, Wonder why thought they could do better than that? Even with liquid cooling it would be another plus?

Paul, in south Texas almost everyone removes the lowers cause its just so blasted hot down here.

Hey Randy, Nice Ride, looks like it needs a mid step. Thanks Tom

Sherry and I sure enjoyed meeting you yesterday,Zook, and seeing your trike project. Pictures don't do that Hannigan body justice, for sure. If we decide to trike our H-D Street Glide, the Hannigan is the one for us.

That is one great looking ride. They say my Hannigan should be ready to install next week. I ordered the Transformer kit like that but I am using the Harley tour pack trunk and back rest. We wanted the extra storage. I am so looking forward to getting mine on the road.

Enjoyed meeting you and Sherry too Clint. If I could have found a 2011 Psychedelic Purple Street Glide in time to be the first in line for the Hannigan Bagger thats what I would have built, but it didn't happen so it looks like you might be the first one. That's going to be a killer looking machine and I'd be thrilled to help you build it.
