Battery change with a Roadsmith Trike

I just changed mine yesterday on my Goldwing w/Roadsmith......YES it is a very tight fit...... I had to cut away approx an inch of the lip that was in the way... so I could hook up the Neg/Pos terminals...That sucked BUT you can't see the cut when the outside cover goes back on...:)

why not extend the cables and put a car battery in the trunk? my '93 with ht kit has it that way and i like it.

Anyone have any experience with changing the battery in a '15 Roadsmith trike?

The Goldwing is a 2012, and the fit is very tight.

Anyone?

I changed mine this spring. It's a tight fit,and I turned the battery as it came out and went back in. I hooked up one battery cable before I turned the battery as it went in.
