Back tire replacement

There is a lot of discussion on front tires but not much on the rears. My trike will have 50k miles soon and I'm going to change the rears. What tire would you change to ? I was thinking about the v grove viper's.

I use rear tires that are AA rated traction and have wide channels to disperse water. Other than that I'm not convinced it makes much difference.

My trike came with Kuhmo's K-21 and I changed to Michelin MXV4, which are no longer available. Both were good.

How long did the first pair last ? I had 35k on my 2000 GL1500 SE CSC Trike and the tires still looked new. Not sure how long they will last on my Roadsmith HTS. I sure like my new Avon Trike Tire.

Riding in the Arkansas twisties, heavy and two-up 95% of time I changed them at 33K miles with plenty of tread left. Just wanted the Michelins.

I love the Avon Cobra Trike tire except for the mileage. I'm debating now whether to pay the premium for higher cost and less mileage for the much improved ride and handling. :Shrug:

I had about 73,000 miles when I found them to be weather checked Installed Kuhmo's R 21. Love them.
