Back from the dragon

Took the trike up to the gap and ran her through the paces. I was impressed enough to go ahead and sell my "reserve" road king that i was holding onto in case i didnt like the trike! She puts a smile on my face and is a real blast in the corners. I ran her hard through the mountains and she did not miss a beat and i got as close as i could to 2 wheeling her before my wife hit me on the head!!!

The 2 days there the weather was perfect, it poured the whole way home. Happy to say no leaks, no real isssues at all. The MOCO has done some fine work here!

Oh no the dreaded "Hit me on the head"

Hmmmm been there done that, but mine is usually followed by "What were U thinking" :yes:

The good thing is I can turn here off with the intercom volume, till she finds out and then it is another hit on the head!!!!!

No wonder I don't have any hair

Congrats on slaying the dragon. Glad to hear you had light traffic, that can be a real bear at times. Finished my second trip there this summer. Did the Cherohala Skyway as well. It is fun on a trike for sure.

Good report. We're heading up the Natchez Trace in early October, will end up in Pigeon Forge so we can tackle the dragon and other rides in the Smokies. We are really looking forward to riding the Smokies--we just spent 3 months in the Rockies and put 9400 miles on the trike. Loved it.
