I had shoulder surgery in June of this year. My new trike sitting on the carport was a tremendous encouragement to get up every day and go to physical therapy. Good luck on your surgery. Magnolia and I will keep you and your medical staff in our prayers. I know you will have some tough days ahead, but before you know it you will be back in the saddle.

Had a broken shoulder last year when I hit a deer on two wheels. It never set right and one orthopod recommend replacing the shoulder. He did however, send me to a shoulder specialist who looked at my MRI for half a second and told me I had two choices:

1. Total shoulder replacement

and behind door # 2 a shot of cortisone and a healthy dosage of Glucosimine and choindroiten daily.

I chose #2 and ride daily.

Hope your surgery goes well.

God Bless & speedy recovery. Tell me how it goes. I've been sweet talking ye ole saw-bones to stall it till early nxt year. Gotta go visit the Princess (grand-daughter) in Munich this Christmas. G'Luck:)
