My wife has a 2005 GL1800, with a Monarch II trike kit. I have been thinking about adding an auxiliary tank on the bike.

Does anybody have this on his/her trike?

if so, what parts did you use ? Where and how was the tank attached?….

Where are thinking it might fit, and how much you figuring it'll hold?

If dragging a trailer out across wide open spaces, maybe a cooler rack on the trailer tongue and two to 4 gallons spare fuel in two containers secured well, then just pour it in when you stop to adjust things. Don't put the containers in the trailer where clothing is, no matter how new they are. Just don't do it.

I can't answer your question - but, wish you luck. For me, after 125 mils or so, I am ready to get gas and step off. I currently have a 6-gallon tank and average about 40 miles per gallon - so, for me, that is about 240 miles.
