Austin Bombings

Just reported a package explosion at a Fed Ex facility near Austin. Does this mean we'll have to ban Fed Ex, UPS, Amazon, USPS, etc., etc., etc., next?

Better carry a gun and spare mags - this nonsense is getting out of control.

I'm heading down to San Antonio and then Austin with some of my friends in two weeks for the first road trip of the season. I'm not really concerned but it is distressing that there are such scumbags in the world.

We no longer have one single solitary thing that would suggest that doing bad things will get you killed except the few concealed carriers walking around. Name one other. Jail? That's better housing and food than these scums have had in years. Even if someone sees a person leave one of these bombs, he only is "alleged" to be the guilty party. Criminals have more rights today and are protected more than the average church going citizen that wouldn't harm a fly. This country has gone straight to h*e*l*l. It is time to correct this but it's not likely to ever happen since people are so against true punishment.

Now how about a sign up list of those that will house and feed and be 100% responsible for all the scum in prison. Just one person with one criminal. Do you honestly think you'll have pages and pages of names? I bet you won't fill one page. Or you want illegals in here then YOU pay and be responsible for just one. Only one in both cases. In other words prove you are so certain nothing will happen. Now the YOU here isn't pointed at anyone here. Just a generic YOU. But I'd love to see some kind of sponsorship for the ones that have put us in the shape. It's not just one political party but one does come to mind that has done more to screw this country up than any other one.

Someone that does Facebook should try a sponsorship list just to see how vacant it stays. These people don't want any part of actually being responsible for turning criminals loose but they also don't want to execute them. I say you can't have both so prove you want it your way by having them in your own home 24/7.

There has to be video of the person dropping off the "package(s)" at FedEx. There is also likely a name registered, as all packages sent by individuals have to be logged in with positive ID.

Keeping fingers crossed this is about done, but praying for those already affected....

The criminal's 15 family members and "friends" all chiming in how he is/was such a sweet choirboy who'd never do such a thing, resonates way too loudly in our left leaning 24/7 media.

Unfortunately there is no changing the media as we know it today, so we have to be the one's pulling the plug or changing the station.

Not looking to politicize the discussion in any way: As far as congress goes: TERM LIMITS are the answer to getting any real change to our existing laws...

Agreed.The family members comment brings to mind a Deal in Florida several years ago where a guy got killed when he broke into a house with an armed homeowner.The news had his sister on.She was upset the homeowner wasn't charged and said folks needed to understand where they were from and how was he supposed to get money for stuff.

A lot of times the bleeding hart press will put a picture of the bad guy when he was about 9 years old in their paper.., And also photoshop a graduation cap on his head like he was a ''A' student ....

Why we protect the scum is beyond me! Swift justice courts now take the word of life time criminals over LEO's Bleeding hearts don't seem to see the suffering of victims and their families do Possibly that would help end the B.S. just sayin...

I suggest every bleeding heart be the sponsor of just one of these scumbags. If that scumbag does something wrong, and they will, the bleeding heart pays. How much you want to bet things would change rapidly. The bleeding hearts want everyone else to pay. It's time they take some responsibility themselves. Make them house and feed the scumbag in their own home. After all, THEY want to save the scumbag. I sure don't. I say fry their butt. We have plenty of people that want to be in this country that want to contribute. But I'd love to see the bleeding hearts start personally sponsoring these scumbags and being personally responsible for them. Start a signup list and see how many you get.

Important lesson for any future would be terrorist/bomber: Don't send your handiwork to your targets via FedEx.

I was slightly confident that using FedEx would be his "undoing", and thankfully it was. He wasn't the brightest bulb in the chandelier, as it turns out.

Hopefully any future copycat would be terrorist/bomber will self destruct before he has any "finished product" to unleash on an innocent population...
