Austin anyone???

Well it has been decided that a trip to Austin,Tx. is needed. Since it is going to be so gosh darned hot,we have decided to trailer the trike down to Austin and then make day trips out of there.

Going to be in the capitol 1,2,3, July if anyone wants to join us for a run to Shiner,Tx or Luckenbach,Tx just drop me a pm

I liked ONE THING in Austin, which was the Texas Ranger Museum. The rest of it was one massive traffic jam intermingled with road construction.

Our son is at UT in Austin. We like the Oasis Restaurant on Lake Travis. What a view and great food too. Be sure and ask for outdoor seating...theres always a nice breeze off the lake so its not unbearably hot! The OASIS Restaurant- Sunset Capital of Texas

Well it pretty much rained the whole time we were in Austin(thanx Alex)

But we still managed to have a wonderful time nonetheless.

Lots of good BBQ,cold Shiner and an awesome visit with the Mitchell family trike shop.

Yes traffic in the metro is absolutely atrocious,but we were usually up and outa town before 7

My favorite area was "SoCo" lots of very interesting people and places down there

Took my trike to Mitchells in Gatesville. What a great experience.

Thought I had a blown oil seal. Mr. Mitchell checked it out and the vent was just blowing excess oil all over. He cleaned it and I was on myway.
