Looks like the Texas drought is over. Let's hear from our Texan friends! How is the rains affecting you?

Hey John and Jan…

I have only received 7/8” at my house out of all this recent system. 18 miles away.. Morris Ranch Road (toward Fredericksburg) has received buckets..but no actual measurements taken. At one point I offered to send for the Ark...:)

As in a LOT of the northern hemisphere all over the world, this summer has been as hot and dry as last summer was cool and wet. Very thankful to have gotten the 7/8”… there has been no other rainfall for the last 4 months at my house.. but very occasional, scattered sprinkles elsewhere in the area. As green and growing as it was til frost last year.. it has been brown and dead this year. I have read that this recent rain will not be the drought breaker… just a short, comfortable interlude… so enjoying it while we can.
