I'm more partial to a big plate of "brains and eggs" for breakfast ~ save the heavy meal for supper...

Funny thing, I remember seeing brains and eggs on a menu. Have to confess, I even tried them when I was in college (on a dare). As best as I can remember, they weren't that bad, once you got past the idea.

Brains and eggs was one of my dad's favorite breakfasts. He only got them when they were slaughtering when he was a kid, but he talked about them the rest of his life.

Had a co-worker who would come to work every once in a while with a pot of racoon chili. A little gamey for my taste, but not all that bad. My brother-in-law has an acquaintence who pens up some possums and some racoons every year and feeds them corn for a couple of months to fatten them up and get the gameyness out of them. Then he butchers them and puts them up for the winter. Wish I could do that with 3 or 4 deer and 2 or 3 feral pigs. That would last a while. A lot less challenging to shoot, though.
