Anyone familiar with LandinGear

I have been researching trikes. I rented a Harley Tri Glide for 4 days and did not like it. It was hard to steer around corners at highway speeds. It vibrated like I was riding over a wash board. My research landed me on the Leg UP LandinGear web site. Looks what I need, but before I spend to buy it, I was wondering if any one is familiar with it and what have you heard, good and bad. Thanks.

Welcome to TT. I have seen that set up on a Goldwing. It moved slow up and down on the one I saw. It looked like it would hinder full lean turns. I was not impressed. That's a lot of extra junk to carry around under a bike. My thought is, if you want to ride a two-wheeler, you don't need two extra wheels. IMHO, It certainly is no substitute for a trike.

I'm not quite ready for a trike either and considering Landing Gear to get a few more years. But I have no experience with one. Like has been said, it would not be a substitute for a trike. And I agree, Tri-Glides just don't cut it for me. I'd go Spyder first. In fact, my wife just traded her 2012 Spyder for a 16. Personally, I'm trying to hang in until they get the leaning trikes flooding the market. I've read all the negative stuff about Landing Gear but never any positive. Sorta like everything else then is they probably just plain work.
