Hit a dragon fly on the way home
If I hadnt had the helmet on,
it would have got the bridge of my nose
Had to stop and clean the helmet so
I could see to ride.

BTDT... another tip is to keep your visor closed. It can get pretty exciting when a bee gets behind a visor of a full face or modular helmet that was open just an inch and can't find it's way out. :AGGHH:

I hit a whole herd of dragonflies riding through Michigan's upper peninsula on the way to the 90th Anniversary party. Thank God for my windshield. After we got through, we stopped in the next town to get the guts off of us and the bikes at the car wash.

When I was on two wheels I wore a Skid Lid, but DOT, one day at dusk a HUGE bug (I saw it coming) hit me between my glasses and helmet on my forehead, I was doing about 50-55 and it threw my head back and left a knot for days! Lol

Several years ago I ran tru a swarm of bee's,thank god I had my leathers & helmet on .Had to stop due to panic & scrape bee's off my jacket as they were locked on with stinger's dug in. Don't think I will ever forget that trip.
