Hello to all Trikers from Del Rio, TX,
Been riding bikes since 1957. But wife says I'm getting too old to wrestle big heavy bikes anymore and put her foot down and said only way I can continue riding was if I got a Trike. Found a 2012 HD Tri-Glide in Alpine, TX with 2000 miles that the Sheriff there had for sale. At first it was a little un-nerving when I finally figured out it doesn't do any good to lean into curves. The dynamics are so different from two wheels. But now that I have gotten used to it the wife and I LOVE it. It does get awfully hot in the summer so want to add some Love Jugs to help manage the excess heat. Also want to find out if the new Auxiliary Tank by Roadsmith fits the factory 2012 Tri-Glide. Certainly want to add some more range to my Trike that the extra 3 gallons would help with. Anyone know if it fits the stock 2012 HD Tri-Glide?
Enjoy the forum and reading everyone's comments. Keep the sunny side up and BE BLESSED!
