I bought a used Aluma MCT trailer and have a question on the air pressure in the tires. The seller brought it to me a couple months ago and I never thought to ask him what the tire pressure should be. He lives over 150miles away and I've misplaced his phone number. I checked the tires today and they have about 15 psi which I think would be too low of pressure. Can anyone enlighten me as to what the pressure should be? The tires are 4.80-12 load range B, USA Trail by Carlisle.

There's no markings on side of tires? Try looking close with a flashlight. Tire pressure should be listed somewhere on sidewall.

The sidewall states 785 lbs max. load at 60 psi cold and "Do not seat at more that 32 psi for unlubricated bead". I'm thinking maybe 40 psi would be a good number but don't want it bouncing around on every little crack or tar strip.

Thanks for the response Bruce. I will try the 50 psi and see how that works. Leaving on Wednesday morning for Boise, ID from ND. About 1200 miles. Right now it looks like we will be loading about 100 lbs. in the trailer. I told the wife that yes she can now take more with the trailer than what she took on the trike but not to get carried away. So far it looks like she has packed fairly sensibly.

I have the CamAm trailer that I pull with my TriGlide and it has the same size tires as your Aluma. My trailer has a sticker on the lid that calls for 35 PSI loaded. Max weight on the CanAm loaded is 400 pounds if that helps any. The sidewallls state something completely different. 10K and no problems with mine.
