I have a recently-acquired GL1500 trike. One of the previous owners installed an alarm system, which is supposed to be controlled with a key fob (which I have two of). I can't figure out how to arm it, how to disarm it if I ever get it armed, or how to disconnect it. It has two little blue lights which are installed on the panel below the instrument cluster, above the sound controls, but all they do is run down the battery. I did a little research and found out the alarm system is made by Directed Electronice, Inc. and is a model 350HV. The last owner is just as mystified as I am, said he never could get it to work either.
I would appreciate any suggestions. Maybe take it to a shop and let an "expert" disconnect it? I don't want to mess up the bike electronics.
