After picking up my 2012 Tri Glide last July, I have been putting together the big plan for my future riding. I sold my Road King and picked up this totally stock TG with 8K miles on it. After making my Road King run so much better with true duals, V & H Ovals, air kit and DFO I find this TG doesn't run worth crap. I bought a Y pipe and de-catted it, picked up a used set of the same V & H Ovals, the air kit and still need to get some type of tuner. I am thinking of getting a V & H fuelpack setup. I also picked up a trailer hitch with harness, easy boy clutch and a lift kit for the back end of the trike.

I just got off the phone and ordered my K & L MC625R table lIft. I sold both of my Handy Lifts last fall knowing I was going to have to change it out for a lift for the trike. The weather is starting to change here in NE Ohio and I cant wait to get the lift so I can install everything on the trike. I am sure this season it will run so much better than stock.

I am really starting to get excited now.:clapping:Sam in front of Trike Small.jpg

LOL - More of the sickness. I've used the V&H Fuel packs on two bikes in the past and they worked great. But I also had full V&H Exhaust and breathers so set-up was easy. Have you talked to them about your set-up?

And have a gas making it yours....jc

I haven't talked V & H about my plans. I don't know if they would discuss the mapping for my setup before I buy their fuelpack. I am sure once I buy it and call them, they will let me know which to download or make up a custom setup for my modifications. At least that's what they say on their site.
I had done almost the same up-grades on my 02 Road King years ago. Back then you could just get a DFO and dial it in. Now its much fancier with all the high tech tuners. I think the fuelpack is much like the DFO's but with many more settings now.
I will receive the new lift in about a week and then I will start installing the pile of parts I have collected in the past few months. I will order the tuner in a week or so I would think.

And so it begins. The new lift arrived today and we were able to get it off the truck out in front of the house while it poured rain. We managed to get it all unpacked and setup. Drove the trike on the new lift for the first time. It all went real well and this lift is very strong.
I managed to get it jacked up and then took off the rear wheels. I took off the right side foot boards and then the exhaust pipes and mufflers.
I drained the trans and put on the Easy Boy Clutch setup and buttoned that all up. I cant wait for tomorrow and start on several other items on my list.
Thanks for listening.

All done now. Lift kit, Mufflers, De-Catted, Breather Kit, Easy Boy Clutch, V & H Fuel Pak, Trailer Hitch and home made Trailer Hitch Bracket for Harness and Safety Chains. I didn't like the bracket that came with the hitch so I made my own. Trailer is wired and ready for the road. All is good.

:Agree: 100% I used a fuel-pack on my V-Rod initially and couldn't get it off soon enough!! I have the Power Vision on the V-Rod and the Power Vision w/TT module on the Trike and love both of them. I have in the past used the Power Commander III, Fuel Pack and the Screaming Eagle Race Tuner and the Power Vision is the best for me anyway!!
