Coach Rice recently Hanniganized our 06 GL 1800

What should I do with the ADV valve

My options are:

1.) Disable it with the hole in the nickel modification

2.) Service it and leave it alone.

3.) Remove .30 off the rod and add a small cone spring from a faucet repair kit. This will disable the ADV on "soft"normal braking, but will activate on "hard"braking.

I need to add I have Traxxion springs and a six degree rake

I would suggest that you contact Hannigan directly and get their recommendations on that subject.

Called Hannigan.

They suggested that just the normal servicing is all that is needed.

What I got from the conversation is:basically the the upgrade to Traxxion springs and the fact it is a Trike, the functionof the ADV is less critical than a stock two wheel.

They mention that Honda had a recall/fix for the ADV??
