Sorry to hear of your mishap, Marc.

Is there a Honda dealer near you? Surprisingly Honda still sells parts for many of their popular bikes, even those with some age.

Even though it took a frontal hit, maybe the kit dealer who sold the actual conversion can assess damage, if Honda is unable to help?

Are you looking to fix it, or have it "totaled"?

I'm still riding. It would be hard to describe the hit but it turned the bars left and the van was partially on the tire.Should tire replacement be an automatic?Inspection by the installer is not possible due to distance.I'm concerned with suspension stuff that my untrained eye won't notice now but break and wreck me later.

I would have a Honda dealer check the front forks and rim for damage. Could be slightly bent without you noticing it. Also have the steering head checked, since it was push against the lock,

If the fork locking lugs were broken, most insurance co's consider it totaled. So I've

been told. That alone got my sons bike totaled.
