A Trike Tale

My Wife has always wanted a Suzuki 650 Burgman Trike. I told her it isn't gonna happen their just to expensive for our budget.
A couple weeks ago while trolling my FB page I came across a 2012 650 Burgman Trike with 8.000 miles for $6.000 in PA. I'm in WI I thought this was to good to be true but I still investigated further.
The poster hooked me up with the seller & the price was right. This trike was built 8/2013. Price OTD was $20.700 I have the invoice.
Just so happened my Friend (Who also has a 650 Burgman) & his GF were on their way to PA for a weeks vacation in her car. I called him and asked him if he could look at this bike, put some money on it to hold it until I could get there with my trailer.
Long story short, He bought the bike for me. I shipped His & Her's riding gear out to them & they rode it back to WI!
This sure is a rare find, A very sweet bike at a price I'll never find again!

Wow! Heck of a deal. I always thought it would be fun to own a Burgman after I read a write up on them in Motorcycle Consumer news a few years ago. Suzuki gave them a 650 Burgman for 6 months to do a long term review. The staff writer that was assigned to ride it for 6 months and write the review didn't want to ride it. He was commuting 50 miles to work in Los Angeles. He liked it so much that at the end of the 6 months when they had to give it back to Suzuki he bought his own Burgman.

They are nice! I've been riding them since 2006. A deer killed my first one (& nearly me) 3 years ago. I wasn't going to replace it as I had a Helix & a 78 Goldwing also to ride. But the Burgman put the biggest smile on my face. This Trike purchase is my 3rd 650 Burgman purchase.

We're selling her former Mini Trike if your willing to travel to Central Wisconsin to pick it up. Its a one owner 2005 400cc Yamaha Majesty with a Tow Pac on it that she rode for 10 years. 27.000 adult driven miles. Nothing wrong with it. Backrest, Givi windshield, new tires.
