We left the 31st and made it back the 16th. A little over 5000 miles in 2 weeks:D

We were lucky I guess, no mechanical problems.

I just remembered, my heel shifter fell off going up Mount Scott in Oklahoma. Reinstalled it in 5 minutes and on our way.

We were lucky enough to see buffalo, antelope, deer and a lot of crazy bikers.

We made several of the same trips as Moonstar did on that post.

The entire trip was unbelievable. After I delete some pics from the camera,;) I will post a few of the scenery.

We went through 11 states. Al, Ms, La, Tx, Ok, Ka, Ne, Sd, Wy, Co, Nm.

I am so far behind at work, I may never catch up. I'll try to post some more later.

I don't know why my camera takes such big pictures? 3mb each. I have to reduce them and try to install them on my album. It is great to be back and check out the forum. I'll try to get the pictures on this weekend.

Go to Camera < menu > then find < file size.> Some will say fine / S fine others will say 1200,800 or 640 X480 look for a smaller size than what it is set at. What brand and model is it. is it?

Welcome back Bryan! You were missed on here, but it sounds like a wonderful trip!!!!!

If you are running Windoze XP there is a neat and easy image resizer in the windows powertoys. I think I originally saw it here, but I'm not sure since I've slept since then.Once downloaded it will come up in the box that opens when you right click on a picture. Just pick your size and it will make a smaller copy instantly.

Scroll down the list to the right and click on "Image Resizer"

Thanks for the info. I am running Vista. I did find a program that is compatible with Vista. I'll try it.

John, sorry to get back to you so late. I bought the camera for my bride. It does everything but sweep the floor. I tell her not to touch anything just pull up and shoot. I guess I will get the manual out and try and size the pics down some.

Barbara, I was hoping to cross paths with you on our trip out west. We have been talking for a couple years now. Have enjoyed it very much.

Ride that Tri like you stole it. Be safe.

You didn't ride far enough west Bryan....I left 8/16 for CO via Logan, UT thru Grand Junction, CO to Dillon (Keystone). Left 8/23 and rode solo from Dillon to Vernal (Hwy 40), then I-80 from Salt Lake City to Wendover, NV, Wells, NV, Jackpot, NV, Twin Falls, ID to Caldwell. Total 1,821 miles. :putergreet:

Sounds like you had quite the trip B. I know you had fun.:D

Did you post pics anyplace yet?
