Thanks for the pictures and the memories.I grew up in the New Orleans area and I remember when the Ponchatrain Bridge was built.There was only one span then for both directions.
Your pictures of the French Quarter is that Bourbon St or Royal Street?
I haven't been back since 1976 but I am hopeing to make there in April for my 50th high school reunion.
