9 Dead in Waco Texas

Over 100 guns taken........Talk about the Wild West.......

Of course Twin Peaks and their 20deg. Beer didn't help I bet...

biker shoot out

this is the emerge that the law abiding bikers needs. back when I started riding ever one look at us as outlaws but in fact we worked hard making a living for our family's. after a few years there was people that never dreamed of riding a motorcycle was buying them , witch help our emerge ( a good thing )

PS and they called them the good old day, bull

Those biker gangs are mostly criminals, drug dealers and thieves.
Have always created a bad image for the rest of us.

Oh well, thinning out the herd and cleansing the gene pool is Nature's typical way to keep the species strong.

Seen the pictures of the outlaw biker gangs, they shouldn't be at Twin Peaks, they should be filling up the buffet line at Luby's @ 5:00 p.m.

Once again the world will know why most Texans call that area Wacko.

I read it was five different Gangs there that had gathered for a TURF SUMMIT and New Member RECRUITMENT get together. Now who could have seen a possible problem coming from that?!?!:cxtv::cxtv::Meds::Meds::Meds:

Be careful about the same problem that could occur in YOUR area....there are a lot of 1% groups in the Carolina's! all along the Coastline there.....

You got that right Mate!!!!!

We have a Chapter of HA's about 15 miles from my home. About 2 years the President of this Chapter was arrested and booked on MANY charges including Murder, He was convicted and doing BIG time. We see Patched RED DEVILS around here on a daily basis, They seem to be the HA's minions and do all the dirty work.

Several times during the year we will see a lot of HA patches around when they are having meetings or "Church".

I just stay clear of any activity or groups of them that I see and have not had any problems. Unlike a local guy here who stopped at a Bar that they frequent, He was riding a Yamaha Crotch Rocket and they made some negative comments about his ride and he made a negative comment about Harley's, in which they proceeded to Pee on his Bike and then set it on fire in the parking lot. Stupid move on his part!!!!:Turkey:

Perseption

Unfortionaly.. John Q Public only sees motorcycles as the common thread, and All riders are thugs of some kind, and does or deals drugs ect.... and we the ride suffer..poor or no service in the local eatery... closer looks from police.

Wonder why people run you off the road ? Most don't know the difference of patches and colors, outlaw clubs and biker orgs. Just my two cents

I don't think most Texans call it Wacko. There are those who like to put labels on things that are outside their comfortable environment. This event could have happened anywhere. There are good people in Waco as there are in any place. It is not fixed in stone that tragedy happens in any one location. Things happen. Most of the participants were from some place else. Bad seeds can show up anywhere. Maybe compassion for the innocents would be more in order. I am grateful that no one outside the criminal element were injured or killed.

Just sayin'

Couple of years ago was on I95 on the way to Charleston. A group of 30 or so wearing colors were all in the left lane at the speed limit. A few cars were passing on the right so I decided to get past this ratty looking bunch. Made me a little nervous, got a few looks, gave them the biker wave, and finally got by without incident.

My experience has been that the gangs don't pay much attention to an old dude on a trike unless you do something to agitate them.

I agree, but remember, what might agitate them may depend on what kind of day they are having, I'll just try to stay clear, PERIOD.:cxtv:

As my dear old mother always said, You are known by the company you keep and if you lay down with dog's you will get up with fleas. I for one believe her.:NoJoke:

Did you forget about David Koresh already and the name given Waco then. That area has some history. Right or wrong.

Ya mean We Ain't Coming Out? Generally 1% clubs don't bother with those who don't bother them or stick their nose in club business. There is a protocol for interacting with a club and it starts by respecting the club and what the members did to earn their patch. Not my lifestyle but it is theirs and they are serious about it.

I respect them by keeping my nose in my business and generally giving them some space. Never had a problem and probably won't.

I can guarantee you there will be some heat in WACO and on those clubs for awhile.

Most of these biker gangs do not want a war with the police. They will be out manned and out gunned. And in Texas they know how to take control.

So.............The law enforcement is who did all the killing..........

And of course they claim that killing the 17 saved many lives. Hmm, I don't know about all of that.

The meeting at the restaurant was a Texas branch of Confederation of Clubs, an organization sponsored by a motorcycle attorney firm, to promote communication and peace between motorcycle clubs. A bit ironic, that.

It is interesting reading some of the biker blogs with a 1% leaning - the spin there is a fight started in the restroom (not over a parking spot as some news articles state), probably by an undercover agent of the BTAF or other agency, then when the fight went outside they were shot down by assorted government agents.

Here is another take on the government conspiracy aspect. This includes the Aging Rebel article but different comments:
