Might consider this:

Easy installation and you get multiple "Switched" circuits for additional needs later. The guy makes these in Japan and ships fairly fast. I put one on a bike years ago, and was a snap. jc

Removed the gas tank. On the left front side of the frame wire trough, there's a white Molex 4-pin female connection with 3 wires out, doubled-back and secured with a black nylon cable strap. Cut the nylon cable strap to release the Molex 4-wire connector that H-D intended to use as auxiliary (passing) lights.

The H-D harness black wire is ground. The red wire w/a yellow tracer is the accessory 12v wire from the 20 amp P&A fuse. There's also a blue wire w/a gray tracer that goes to the right-side handlebar switch, which H-D hasn't released yet.

There is a switched connector behind the left side cover just under the just under the fuse panel. Harley sells a cigarette lighter plug that plugs into that connector.

Thankyou folks I'll b checkin it out this weekend. Just w.anted make sure we were'nt gonna blow up a body module or sumpin else expensive!
