Have owned a 883 sporty, ultra limited, and now I have a 13 TriGlide. Test drove a 2 wheel, 2015, level 3, GL1800. I feel the Honda was a lot more comfortable, cooler, better ergonomics, better engine, not deafening, without more out of pocket to make it comfortable. Almost traded keys on the spot. Got the boss on it, and she loved it too.
The only thing holding us back, is that we have gotten very use to the trike stability. Maybe I need to find a Honda trike to test. Sure hate that solid axle on the TriGlide.
just thinking out loud.

See if you can find a Goldwing with a Roadsmith or Hannigan conversion. They both have independent rear suspension (IRS) and this is the trike you'll want to ride on long trips. It's a genuine touring trike and will give you thousands of miles of trouble free riding.

Ride safe. :clapping:

Ditto! IMO, these are the two best touring trikes. Others are also good but I prefer the longer wheelbase; just like a cage - the longer the smoother the ride.

You will notice a different ride with a I RS as opposed to a straight axle. The trike will appear to "lean" somewhat. Don't worry you will quickly adjust.. I have owns nine gold wings and seven Harley ultra's over the years. The finest bike in the world for touring is the Honda Gold wing. It is mechanically worry free it has plenty of power and you don't need to spend a fortune on upgrades to get what you want. Very few recalls. The electronics on the bike are worry free and easy to master. I happen to have a Hannigan kept on the back of my 2012. It is one fine touring machine. In addition the storage space is almost twice what the Triglide is. You won't get the Harley noise or the vibration but if you want a trike that goes down the road smooth quiet and worry free the Gold wing is no doubt the bike to buy.

(Gee, sounds like a work for them......Which I don't...Lol)
