2014 triglide reverse quit

Need a little help... my wife and I were out this past weekend, and everything worked great.. got up and out Sunday morning and went to use reverse and the light comes on

and I hear it try to move the bike but it just wont back it up.. I can hear it click and try to do something but it wont move in reverse.. any ideas.. really could use the help

First to look at is the circuit breaker its under the right side panel , Check it to see if it tripped......Maybe thats the problem, After that there is a slight chance the motors gear got jammed on the reverse ring gear, If thats the case rock the trike forward and backwards to free it.....After that if it still wont work, The reverse motor has to be rebuilt. Many members here had their reverse motors go out, Including mine..[3 times]

Hopefully you have a warrteny...Those POS Motors go for 13 hundred and more...

You could also look in the Tri glide forum at the top there is a sticky on troubleshooting the reverse circuit.

I have checked the circit breaker and its ok.. the R light was blinking when i first tried it.. reset the breaker and now it is on like normal.. but still will not move it reverse.. Thanks to Jack who sent me a place to have the motor rebuilt..Believe it or not the place you recommended is about 10 blocks from where I work.. never even thought about them.. right in my backyard..
