2012 trike motor work

I own a 2012 Harley trike 103 cu in. Vance & Hines pipes 57H cams & stage 1 kit! looking for more power!
thinking about (110" Power Package for HD® Twin Cam 96™, 103™ Models with 585 Easy Start® Chain Drive Cams - Wrinkle Black) what I'm looking for is WILL my drive train in my trike hold up to this power & torque that this motor will push? my big concern is mostly the read-end & belt with all the extra weight of the trike this motor would be pushing!

Take a look at my Trike Description, as I have a 120r motor installed (changed cams for a more street friendly application) which I changed the designation to a 120st due to my cam change. The main thing you will need to do is upgrade your clutch assembly to handle the increased torque, and possible your Throttle Body for sufficient fuel delivery. It will also run a little hotter if you increase the compression, but that can be dealt with as well. I purchased my 2013 new and changed the motor with about 50 miles on the OEM 103". The difference is an awesome ride!!

Good luck with whatever direction you go with!

You should be fine with the belt, one thing about the easy start cams is that they can make a weird slapping sound some times when the motor shuts off.I installed a set of these in my buddies Street Glide and about crapped when i first heard it.That is until i looked at the end of the directions and it states that you may hear it from time to time. The 585 cam is a upper rpm cam.My buddy put one in his 2015 Street Glide and it killed his low end.Are you running stock heads,if so the cam you have may be fine with the 110 kit just get the heads ported and you will see a nice gain in power.JMO

I've run a 110 SE motor in my 2013 since day one. Had it changed out before delivery. I've added TTS 100 cams and the TTS tuner. I run a Rusk 2/1/2 header into 1 7/8 baffle Rusk mufflers. I use the VPS clutch pressure plate with stock clutch plates. 3 years 40k miles latter no issues. Heads are stock that came with the 110 motor. For awhile I had the de-catted stock header I liked it better but it still was hot by the right leg. I do also run LOVE JUGS. I'm very pleased with my setup. You should look at low end torque when you consider your cams. Trikes NEED the torque.

The TTS 100 is definitely a torque cam,I may look at it or the Woods 222 for my M8 trike.
